Wellpict European Tunnels

Wellpict European Tunnels (WET Protection) was established earlier this year to provide our prospective customers with quality, affordable multi bay tunnels and unparallelled customer service. TO stay true to the high standard set by ourselves, it meant that we had to go back to the drawing board to strategise and plan. We are confident that this strategy has paid off and we are ready to become the leader in the Industry. It is interesting that another crop protection company has chosen to adopt the ideal of a tunnel "adjustable in height", an idea first developed by EFS and Well-Pict European back in 2002.

Manufacturing:
All manufacturing is done by Engineered Farming Solutions (EFS) In South Africa. Their team of enginees and personnel ensures that components are manufactured to the highest level of quality. They are forever exploring new innovative concepts, the first of these will be launched soon.

Their state of the art factory uses only the highest grade material and manufacturing processes. The galvanising process that they use ensures complete galvanising 2.5 times thicker than any othe brands. Together with a component wall thickness of 1mm thicker, we are positive that WET can supply the best quality product on the market.

Product range.

Tunnels:
Our aim is to be as flexible as possible to provide you with tunnels that suit your specific needs. We therefore offer a basic 6.5m and 8m multi bay tunnel with a variety of extra components which includes wind kits, ridgepole systems and side bracing. We are careful not to lose sight of the fact that Spanish Style tunnels should be a cost effective and flexible system of crop covering. Our new developments concentrate on this fact, by keeping cost to a minimum and developing sustainable and practical systems.

Tabletop growing systems
WET is the sole agent for the Boxall tabletop growing system. This system was developed by an existing strawberry tabletop grower and is a cost effective, durable substrate growing system.

Bed former
The Hillers bed former and mulch layer has also been developed, trialled and tested by existing growers. We can finally say sthat all those bed-making headaches are something of the past. The ultimate in bed forming and mulch laying will be market through WET.

Customer service

We undertake to remove the hassle from tunnel purchasing and construction by providing you with complete customer service unparalleled in the industry.

- We will assist you with the initial planning and surveying of your site. supply you will all the technical assistance regarding our product and relevant agronomic issues.

- We'll be on hand when construction starts supplying you with a conprehensive construction manual. If needed we can even construct tunnels for you! Our construction team is on standby top help with any problem that might occur.

- We provide the hoop bending equipment (and labour) as well as other equipment to assist in making the construction of your tunnels a pleasure.

- A complete range of spares is kept and will be devered to you at a phone's call.

- To help in managing the tunnels in adverse weather conditions, you can install a weather alerting service that will warn you via mobile phone if conditions exceed certain criteria. Please contact us for more information regarding this option.
