Andrew Boxall wins soft fruit Grower of the Year award
Andrew Boxall, one of Well-Pict’s main strawberry and raspberry growers from Sutton Valence in Kent has won the Field Soft Fruit Grower of the Year Award for 2004. He has previously been a finalist on two separate occasions and was delighted to have landed this prestigious award at the third time of asking! The other two growers shortlisted by the judges were also from Kent; Charles Gaskain and Alan Firmin LTD.
An ecstatic Andrew said “To have won this award is testament to the excellent team of people that Elaine and I have working with us here at the farm. We all try very hard to produce fruit of othe highiest quality for our supermarket customers, and to win the Grower of the Year will give us all a huge boost as we seek to develop our business further, especially as we continue to supply the ASDA supermarkets directly within the county.”
