Fed up of receiving calls from recruitment agencies?
04/Apr/2005
Fed up of receiving calls from recruitment agencies? Fruitful jobs offer a different service in recruitment for the sector, in which you control the types of candidates put forward.

Fed up of receiving calls from recruitment agencies?

If you have ever been involved in human resources you will have taken calls from recruitment companies offering to help fill a position you’ve advertised in local, national or industry press. Recruitment is a tough business and cold calling is part and parcel of the business and with well over 15,000 recruitment based companies in the UK that’s potentially a lot of calls.

The updated Fruitful jobs website went live in March, it’s designed to offer an alternative  to those employers who are fed up of their current recruitment options – either paying for advertising a position and not getting any response or getting lots that aren’t relevant, or, employing the services of a recruitment agency and having to hand over anything between 10 – 30% of their salary as a fee, with that nagging feeling that at some point in the future your new recruit may be ‘tapped up’ for another position.

The site allows registered employers to place adverts on line, Fruitful will pass on applications and/or CVs that fit the employer’s requirements, Fruitful only acts as a ‘go-between’, all discussions about the terms of employment are between the candidate and the employer. If the candidate introduced by Fruitful is offered and accepts a position then the employer is charged a fee (per head), this is not a salary based fee but a one-off flat rate fee of £450 (regardless of position level).

In addition to posting jobs, a  employer can also search the CVs of candidates who have chosen to display them online; essentially employers can do their  wn ‘headhunting’ keeping an eye on what is available in the job market.

Job seekers can submit their CVs and have them available to view by registered employers, they are able to edit and update their CVs online at any time. Registered job seekers are able to apply for any positions posted on the site and request Fruitful to ‘keep them  posted’ on any positions that may be suitable.

www.fruitfuljobs.com offers employers the chance to find employees of any level from unskilled to senior management, they can view their CVs, speak with them without any cost, whilst only paying when they find the right person and all for the equivalent cost of placing an advert in the local press.

As well as permanent positions (all £450 per head) Fruitful continues to source seasonal staff for employers, Fruitful will endeavour to find the right person/persons whatever the position (Picker, Supervisor, QC, Driver, Farm Shop, Packhouse, Sprayer, Tractor Driver, Gardener, Domestic Helper etc). For seasonal workers the rate is variable depending on the position and the duration of the work, however, the charges range from £30 - £160 per head.

As well as the interactive service, the site offers job seekers and employers a wealth of information, on anything from work permits to travel details.

If you are interested in checking out what Fruitful can do for you, log on and register, it will open a whole new ‘recruitment’ world.
