Newly appointed agents in UK and Southern Europe for EFS

Not content with producing world class tunnel componenets and associated equipment, EFS is doing it's best to ensure that it's ethical and training practices are first class. WET put an upliftment program in place for their staff, where by previously unskilled staff members are put through certified training programmes to qualify them in the use of industrial plant and machinery.  This program has not only made for safer working environment but has a positive social impact on the previously disadvantages communities of the southern Cape. They have also taken the first steps toward a technology transfer partnership with the Southern Cape's leading agricultural tertiary institution - the fruits of which will be reaped by EFS customers.

The ESF product range is dominated by Spanish Tunnels. They offer standard Spanish tunnels with 6.5 metre and 8 metre bays and they will also produce any custom size tunnel for specific grower requirements. The company has a production capacity of two Ha's of tunnel componjents per day. EFS tunnel components are manufactureed from internationally certified structural steel and have the highest specification in corrosion protection in the industry. Despite a cubstantial change in the Forex Market from 2002 to 2003, EFS prices have come down to seriously competitive levels. EFS saw off a hostile bid by Hargrove to buy out Well-Pict European from the company, which would have given them access to EFS products. Instead, EFS recently appointed two new agents, one in the Uk and one in Southern Europe. They have taken bold steps to ensure their customers get the best quality Spanish tunnel and now hold stock of all standard components in the UK. This reduces delivery time and enables our agents to provide a better and quicker service to the grower.

EFS produces a range of in-field equipment specifically suites to tunnel farming. The range includes liquid sterilant applicators, tunnel installation equipment, bed makers, retractable sprayers etc.
