Strawberry and Cream Sampling at ASDA House

In celebration of the start of Wimbledon, AMS was asked to join an event to promote british strawberries and cream at ASDA house in Leeds. New AMS employee Tine Hinton was thrown in at the deep end, as it was her first day on the job. "We were stuck on the motorway behind an accident and I was a bit worried that we would arrive after the event had finished but we made it with just thirty minutes to spare."

AMS was joined by Dairy Crest who brought along their new alcohol laced products (Vodka and strawberry cream!). There was also a mini tennis court and a girl dressed in whites ready to take on passing challengers.

The strawberries were hulled and cut into pots, and by 12.30 the AMS team and Dairy Crest girls were swamped with people wanting strawberries and cream, some people took a little longer than others to try the vodka cream but they kept coming back for more, not to mention their requests for punnets to take home.

ASDA Account Manager, Steve Sadler said "The event was held to entice the 2000 ASDA colleagues to get to know what they sell in their stores, to buy more themselves and to understand how our products get from A to B. George Beach (Assistant Managing Director) believes AMS won them over "game set and match".
