Moving on up and moving on out The New Year sees some significant changes to the structures and locations of the Well-Pict European Group and AMS Ltd.

 

Moving on up and moving on out.

Well-Pict European Ltd & AMS Ltd Head Offices/Accounts have moved to a purpose built office premises in Barnstaple, North Devon. Formerly the offices were located at the home of Managing Director Martin Seymour which in the early days proved satisfactory. As the group expanded though the space required became a growing issue. The new offices have been purpose built and as such provide an efficient and effective working environment which utilises the latest communication systems technology.

In January two new directors were appointed to the board of Well-Pict European Ltd.

Andrew Coates has been with the company for the past 9 years as company accountant. previously working as an Audit Manager in a large accountancy practice in Longon. Andrew's specialist area is corporate tax and finance. Andrew holds a BA Hons in Modern Languages, is a member of the Chartered Secretaries & Administrators and qualified as an accountant in 1986.

 

Aurel Voiculescu is now responsible for Information Systems and Administration. Prior to joining Well-Pict European, Aurel was the information system manager for AMS Ltd. Before this he was Operational Manager for a soft fruit farm in Shropshire managing up to 150 people and a turnover of £2million.

He gained a Master in Business Administration Degree from Wolverhampton Business School in 2000. This asses to his first class degree in economics awarded by the Academy of Economics in Bucharest.

Aurel said, "As a member of the board, my aim is to ensure that the company provides first class information and services and it continues to add value for its growers."

Advanced Marketing Services Ltd (AMS) - George Beach is now installed in his new role as Assistant Managing Director of AMS Ltd. Joining George are Steve Sadler and Kate Evans who woth have solid grounding in fresh produce.

Steve is our Asda Account Manager. He was previously employed by Well-Pict European with responsibility for organic and cherry procurement and an involvement in English Plums.
